Suspension woes

Car now over 3 years old and seems problems are starting to increase, firstly alternator failed a few months back, then EGR valves had to be replaced.
Now suspension has started playing up, started off by display showing "vehicle raising slowly" on most mornings, then
that developed into "suspension fault". today it said vehicle will raise when system cools, i could then hear the compressor making some very strange grinding noises.
Our workshops are currently replacing the compressor and this should cure the current problem.

Whilst underneath they noticed what appears to be a motor or pump behind and above the fuel tank that is leaking oil,
The dynamic response level in the reservoir was also down to minimum, I presume this is some sort of high pressure pump for the DR system. Anybody have any experiences of this failaing?
If your watching this Bobby do you have any data on the layout of this system handy

It is due to be replaced next March but now the beloved TDV8 is currently withdrawn I may wait until LR get the new V8 fitted into the Sport.

Thanks in advance....

Compressor changed so now running silent again,
Only trouble is fault with suspension raising slowly is still there, takes about 4 minutes to bring it up to normal,
Back seems to come up quickly its the front that is taking the time...maybe time to visit the dealers... Big Cry MY07 TDV8 HSE (BAS Remap), Java, Privacy Glass,Tasmods.

The message "suspension raising slowly" or "vehicle will raise when system cools" are not faults. The air compressor is temperature controlled, the fisrt message shows if the reservoir is empty and its having to use just the compressor to lift the vehicle. The second message is just telling you that its too hot to run at that time. To check if you actually have a faulty system. Leave the engine running with all the doors closed for say 20 mins, the compressor will charge the reservoir to full. Then leave the compressor to cool for say 30 mins and then try a lift, - it should raise nice and quick with no messages given. Question is why is the reservoir getting empty and compressor getting too hot - Did you move the suspension up and down a lot prior to these messages? - If not you may have a leak or poor height calibration which is making it level more often than it needs to. Trust me, i'm an Engineer!

After running the car over the weekend all the error lights and messages have now disappeared and car is rasing in around 4 - 6 seconds compared to the 4 mins previously.

Guess it must have been the compressor and the overheat was because it could not achieve pressure. Could not detect any leaks,
Also tried what Micrometer suggested and all seems ok.
One thing I did notice is that the reservoir has no drain so wondered how water is purged from the tank? There is a threaded plug in the middle at one end, any ideas?

Car is going into local dealer tomorrow to investigate leak on Dynamic Response and a double check on height calibration. MY07 TDV8 HSE (BAS Remap), Java, Privacy Glass,Tasmods.
