Best trolley jack

I'm looking for a trolley jack, mainly for changing the wheels from summer to winter ones. There are so many on the market I wondered if there are any that come recommended or ones to avoid. I have no intention of working under the RRS, so do not require any type of stands. Any advice or information most welcome.

No! The winner of that test got heavily criticised over on the Disco forum for breaking easily. Have a search over there or look at this recent thread:

They recommend the next Clarke model up or the Costco one which was dropped in price recently. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

If your near a Costco..........they have excellent quality ones in stock that wouldn't be expensive at £300............yours for £90!! Better quality than the ones used by the likes of Thick twit according to my tyre fitter chappy and he's had his for 3 years and it must have seen some significant abuse.

No link as Costco website is C Censored p

Otherwise go for one in that list, cheap cheerful and will {probably} do the job Whistle Wink L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

Looks like the Clarke CTJ3000G would be a good buy, but I could find no reference to the GNV adaptor on the Machinemart site.

I would like to use a Costco store but it seems you need to be a trader to use them, also the nearest one to me is 200 miles away. :bulb:

There are a few makes I could buy locally, like Draper or Sealey so one of those might have to do as long as the lifting capacity is at least 3 tons.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction folks.
