Australia 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Chawton White

I see there are no green ovals on the car, even the steering wheell has "Range Rover" on it...

I'm also aware that the job position of "General Manager Land Rover Australia" has become "Director Range Rover and Land Rover"

So hypothesis is that they seem to want to differentiate the brands even more.... and no doubt charge even more $'s for the RR brand!

I heard on reasonable authority that the Range Rover Sport is already the most profitable car for Land Rover - in Australia at least that is!

I think the petrol engine is actually going to be a 2-liter turbo inline 4 (that's a lot of hp for a 4 banger!), no V6, at least not right away. Also, here in the US at least we'll get no diesel anything, therefore no 2-wheel drive option. Base price in the US s/b around US$45K, probably for a fairly loaded model as I imagine LRNA will keep the lineup simpler, like they did with the Sport... At that price level a 4-cyl engine might be a tough sell around here though, for that kind of money we usually expect a big V6, minimum! Very Happy

Greece 2009 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Alaska White

It's a wonderful car inside - out but not a true Range Rover (in terms of 4x4 capabilities) but unfortunately LR wants to make money (2WD option Mad ).

It looks like the first time that a production car matches the prototype Thumbs Up

I would like to see it "in flesh" 2009 Range Rover Sport 2.7 TDV6 SE, Alaska White, Almond leather, tinted windows, active rear diff, tow pack, HiICE, full spare: gone and already missed

I think it looks stunning, it will not devalue the brand as a £30k + car will still only entice a certain level of clientele.

Lets be honest, the RRS has not devalued the RR brand and you can pick the RRS up from around £18k upwards.

5 door = deposit from me. I think it looks great inside, really modern and love the Jaguar touches. I dont mind companies borrowing from a parts bin when its another prestige parts bin. It all falls down when you start seeing stuff from a mondeo on a £50k car. (Discovery 2 and rover parts spring to mind)

Dynamic (HST - all the options ticked) Whistle Whistle Thumbs Up

A bold, dramatic exterior with 20 inch wheels, unique bumpers, sills, grille and tailpipes, which projects a more assertive, confident stance. Premium sports interiors with leather seats and unique sports detailing reinforces the dynamic design theme. L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

England 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Bali Blue

The more I look at it the more I like it. Its a proper trendy motor, one for the girlies though I think. Would buy the wife one if she ever passes her test.

Personally I think it should just be called the EVO as EVOQUE is a bit pants.
