I have just bought a 2007 TDV8 HSE with 55K and FSH, the car drives well but I have noticed that when accelerating hard the car responds well but produces quite alot of blackish smoke, never having owned one befroe is this usual?

No smoke is produced on idle unless reved hard.

Any advice grealty recieved

Most diesel's with no DPF will smoke a wee bit until the turbos spool up after that there should be little or no smoke unless of course it has been aggressively mapped then it might smoke a bit. Cayenne Turbo "S" 521bhp Standard

I treat the smoke as a proper smoke screen.
