For Sale - Bike Carrier

I've sold our old Freelander, but still have the bike rack - any interest here?

It's the official Land Rover one, with the 2 big mounting points either side of the towbar, and a very very solid platform for holding 2 bikes.

I only have the bike rack, and not the mounting point.

Any interest - I think they're around £250 from Land Rover.

Open to offers...

e-mail me on Richard.Norgate@me.com

Richard.

Richard if only you had advertised last week Big Cry Big Cry ............................ I had the base (the bit that fits onto the tow bar) and not the carrier and that was what I wanted as the same rack fits the FFRR! Last Friday I got a whole new set-up from one of the local dealers! This is what I had left after sending the carrier bit to the local dump.......... because I wasn't going to be buying another FFRR 3 years ago Embarassed Embarassed

BTW This carrier system is no longer available for RRS or D4 as I asked the local guys for the RRS part number and they couldn't get it as it's discontinued and the factory had no stock. The base is made by Westphalia if you want to buy a base. Might also be worth sticking the carrier on FullFatRR.com's for sale and wanted too

Tim,

I only you'd PM'd me as I found the rack bit in our Aladin's cave which is missing the bracket!

Rolling with laughter Isn't always the story James - nothing available and then 2 appear at the same time!

By the way the new style isn't as versatile as the old system as you cannot use the tow hook at the same time as carrying a bike with the new style, so my base is great and the new carrier still fits the rack mount bit (careless of the marketing guys not to have changed the design so that you couldn't mix and match! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Gents,

Have between you got both bits ?

I've a FFRR and was thinking of getting the bike rack, but was put off by the price of a new one.

If you have I'd be interested in buying.

Many Thanks
