Total power failure sat nav screen and more

Confused Hi just changed cars from 55 plate sport hse to a 58 plate sport hse. Jumped in this morning entered postcode pressed destination and every thing went hay wire. The sat nav screen went blank lost audio on the stereo and phone and voice contol would not work. Phoned my dealer who were great said drop it in straight away. The car was parked for 10 minutes outside when the mechanic opened the door put in the key and to by astonishment everything was working fine. The mechanic said it could have been a software clitch and carried out a hard reboot and said give it a try. Done 350 miles today no problems. Has any one else had this problem on my previous car I lost volume on the audio a couple of times switched of removed key restarted and all was fine. Any advice would be very helpfull.

Well it's been over a month now and touch wood no further problems. Maybe it was just one of those glitches or the car Has a mind of it's own feels strongly about costing me top wack for road tax and tried to save me Boris's tax and was scared to go to London Laughing what's it going to do if we end up paying to park in a company car park.
