Psy - I agree the G4 is great. The price that G4 is high because of it's condition, I would expect you could pick one up at the £22k mark if you waited. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Hi again all, good news - looks like RRS would fit in my garage.
I can comfortably get the beemer in with its mirrors out (195cm wide), so should have no issues getting an RSS in with it's mirrors folder (193cm).

In light of this, were electrically folding mirrors an option on 2005-09 model RRS or were they standard across the range?

Thanks,
Si

All RRS from launch, except the S version, had heated powerfold mirrors, HSE/S/C/HST also had dip reversing and memory on their mirrors. I think you will find even a lot of used S versions might have had powerfold as an optional extra 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Brilliant, thanks Tim.

I have dip-reversing on my Beemer, one of the best 'small' features I've ever had on a car. Smile

I did the same with my RRS Johnny as it had problems remembering the reverse settings, but the FFRR seems to remember the settings all the time and so far the new car has always dipped them to the setting I input on my drive. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Hi all, still lurking and hunting for a petrol RRS!

Have looked at a few 4.2SCs recently, a couple of nice ones at the dealership in Battersea (S.London), but have decided to wait until I have a bit of a larger budget to get something as nice as possible. Keeping my eyes open for a 4.4 too as they seem to be quite different on the insurance for me (though less of them around of course). Was looking to spend ~£22k, but going to up this to ~£28ish.

Had to spend a fair few £££ on one of my bathrooms this month due to a leak (and my deciding to take the chance to redo the whole room - long story Wink which has delayed cash accumulation, but have discovered that I can pretty much sell my 330 'vert for what I paid for it which is nice (2 years later).

SO, I'm still keeping my eyes open! Wink

Si

Ha, VA - just seen on the members' map where you're based. I grew up (and parents still live) 30 seconds away from you, just near to the Duke of Wellington pub. Wink
