Hi there is no comparison HSE all of the way, if you are willing to travel to bolton in lancashire i have a contact who gets range rover sports through at the right price, i got a fantastic deal on my 2007 57 3.6 V8 range rover sport HSE, he has a lovely 2006 sport in now, and he is getting a fully loaded HSE with kit sunroof tints steps flaps 22"ers ETC I think it has 40000 miles on the clock, he was well under book on mine, PM me if you whant details. good luck. The S had cloth seats, manual unheated mirrors, no satnav, in fact it was very basic, most got loaded with extras so you can get quite good deals on them because even specced up with all the HSE toys an S is still an S and a dealer can only sell it as an S with a few extras on it. But I agree with the guys above - go for the biggest engine and highest spec you can afford, and avid the S version unless it is being sold at an exceptionally low price - remember one day you will want to sell it on and it will still be an S despite any extras you fit to it. By the way don't touch any RRS that is being sold on wheels bigger than 20" - Land Rover never designed it to have wheels any bigger, bigger wheels cause premature wear to the transmission and drive as well as degrading the ride. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
