Sent my 55SC back to Bryan Borwick and his team at T&C Aberdeen for an MOT and some warranty work. Went well....

1) Bluetooth Handsfree Echo
- Expecting a new BT module... Advised to turn the volume down... That worked!

2) Booked in for a service
- Car returned told not needed until February 2010....

3) Lower Offside Rear Door Frame Frame Replacement
- Not a warranty item. Weird, Rubbering thing looked like it was corroding.

4) Knocking
Anti roll bars replaced.

5) Engine chirp
Engine download. Solved.

6) A bunch of other stuff to just keep the car in top top condition.
- Wipers, blah blah

Washed and valeted. Good service all round. Good stuff and remains on my North East recommended list.  2022 P440e AB

Yep, Bryan's arrival as after sales manager at T&C Aberdeen has transformed
their service from appalling to superb - The guy deserves a real pat on the back
for his customer focused approach On the sales side I would
also recommend dealing with Gordon Rough -another top man

Unfortuneatly there is still one sales guy at T&C who does them no favours with his
arrogant attitude. I aint gonna name names but suffice to say that he very nearly
made me walk out of the showroom by completely blanking me when I asked him
about the MY10 RRS. He didn't even pause in his stride as he walked passed me
and I asked if I could look inside a locked HSE that was in the showroom. He just
mumbled - SOLD - and carried on walking to his desk & sat down. It wasn't even that
he was with another customer! - ARSE He is actually the same guy that lost T&C
my custom when I bought my 1st RRS in 07, due to the same poor attitude!
Once again, It was Bryan that saved the day for T&C. He took me out and let me have
a play around with the MY10 he was currently driving & then introduced me to Gordon Rough,
whom I'd already been recommended to deal with by another RRSPORT Forum member.
Result is I have just bought an HSE Freelander 2 for my wife and ordered my new 3 litre
TDV6 HSE from him So, to the little Sh t who shall remain nameless,
I say this - It pays to be nice to people - especially when they're gonna spend over £80k on cars

06 RRS TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony, PTI, Running Boards, Privacy, S/C Grille/Vents, Stormers, Tasmods - GONE - (

Picked up a puncture in the back wheel today. AA changed the wheel for the spare and I drove down to the dealership. Gordon Rough got the car straight through too the workshop and 30 minutes later they had repaired the tyre. Total cost £20

Gordon Rough put together a superb deal on my new RRS HSE which arrives next Wednesday. Top bloke!

HAve to admit that following initially god experiences with them my confidence got a bit of a dent in the last few weeks. Got the brake recall letter in at the start of December and its only going in this Wed. You'd think a recall on something like brakes would be a wee bit higher priority than have to wait a month to get it looked at especially as they do feel weird now and again!

Next was the week before xmas I got a heap of warnings and daft little electrical faults showing so I nipped over 1st thing in the morning and even though the faults happened in the forecourt they wouldnt look at it and told me to drive up the road and call LRA!!! Did that but LRA couldnt send out a technician either and offered the RAC! Didnt think they carried all the laptops and diagnostics equipment to find faults like that. Or am I wrong??

Just means got more to add to the list for Wednesday........... Current, M135i in Estoril Blue with more extras than the cast of Ben Hur.

Have to agree with the comments on Gordon Rough - I previously bought 2 new Subaru Impreza WRX's from him - not at the same time I might add and he did me great deals on both.

He just put together another cracking deal for me on a new RRS HSE - all he has to do now is find a car to match the spec I want but I have every faith - TOP BLOKE !  A MAN IS NOT OLD UNTIL REGRETS TAKE THE PLACE OF DREAMS
