United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Cairns Blue

Hi sorry for my late reply on this subject, we have recently become grand parients so my time has been short.

My mapping is done, programming on the bench is done etc etc infact mine has been done since December Smile , i need to finalise some things after the LR software updates recently out and it will be ready to go.
I dont want to rush it even though i know many are waiting, id much prefer to tell you when its ready and perfected than give you it before ive made all the real world tests i feel need making first.

Cobbler, I believe a "chip" is a plug-in unit like a USB stick that has the retune burned to it, easy to remove and you can plug it in or unplug as you like. A remap is re-writing or creating a second file in the engine ECU and has to be done with a laptop or some other portable computer. These are invisible to everybody (ie there is no external hardware like a dongle or USB) and can usually only be detected by interogating the ECU with another computer. Often a remap overwrites the car makers programme and some then get over written if a dealer services the car and upgrades the ECU files with the makers new file - decent remap companies get round this by providing you with a the ability to return the ECU to the remappers tune files 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
