Has anybody heard or know of somebody that has had replica wheels fail. There seems to be a lot of scaremongering with replica wheels maybe justified or not. I have some 'cheap' wheels on my car and know other people who also do and nobody has had any issues with them. I do know that original BMW wheels are known to crack and these are supposed to have been through all the safety checks ?? You pays your money and makes your choice.

There were posts on here around 2 years ago with pictures of cracked rims - IIRC it may even have been rims from a dealer, may have been 22's - going from memory - but thinking was that mis selling was involved.

i.e. they weren't the brand they were portrayed as - allegedly

Have a feeling it was M6, Manchester way....
