With that much weight behind it might even be better to start in low ratio to get it moving, manually shifting L1/L2/L3 - H2/H3 then automatic high box once you are happy - you can change between low and high box when the car is in motion up to 15mph, just do it on the flat not going down a hill! It will use the low box like crawler ratios on a big truck. I regularly used to tow an industrial twin axle trailer with a RR classic on top in auto with no probs at all, only used low when manoeuvring |
