Australia 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey
Upgrading Screen & Navigation

Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the factory head unit & screen with something like the new Alpine Media Station, that has built-in navigation, bluetooth, DVD and camera? Will I lose the offroad screen functionality that shows wheel direction/articulation and active rear diff settings etc?

thanks, 2008 TDV8, Stornoway Grey with Alpaca premium leather, Adaptive cruise, Adaptive Bi-xenons, sunroof, Premium Nav, Premium ICE Logic 7, telephone, active locking rear diff, console coolbox, seat memory, powerfold mirrors, tow pack, window tint, dual battery, engel fridge, Goodyear Mud-Terrain tyres.

The system in the RRS is "bespoke" to Land Rover/ RRS so anything else you fit will not offer the functions that the LR system offers unless you can configure the computer with LR's software 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Thanks Tim, I thought that would probably be the case but wanted to ask just in case someone had been able to replace the RRS system. I'd just like better functionality for my iPod, phone compatibility and better sat nav. Oh well...
