In the last two days the vehicle has displayed in the message centre " Suspension Fault, Normal Ride Height only" plus the amber warning light, and today it has now added to the list "Special Programmes not available" and no lights are on in the TR console, not even the standard on-road is lit up Thank god for extended warranties

Zilch, is it still the original battery? If so then it may be time to get a new battery or get the alternator checked that it is charging. Also select 4x4 info on the nav screen and check that all the suspension sensors are working 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

As per other note, the compressor had failed, the specialists could not get hold of LR original parts, Allianz are approving new after market compressors... 3 Sports this week referred to the LR Specialist, 1 pushed back to LR dealership, the poor sod as a 10 day wait as it is under LR manufacturer warranty and needs genuine LR parts, i suspect they will fail before the after market ones based on the build quality i have experienced with LR

BK it averages about 4 - 5 off roads a year, nothing taxing or hard..some no more than your Vineyard runs and with the same attention to detail from kittens in terms of cleaning after the event it has had since new: New Steering rack Brake Servo contamination / servo failure Brake recall and modification Recovered due to sensor failure after Engine Management upgrade New transfer box New Control arm bushes and ball joints New Front Diff New Air Compressor New Wiring loom and New Radio - never found the problem it can go on and on, but will keep it to the big ticket items, the list is a bit longer than you think EDIT: REMOVED DISPARING REMARKS PS BKHK, your right, time to throw off the yoke, go with the local flow and order a Toyo or a Nissan Another Pommie Bar Steward down under MY20 Defender 110 SE P400 Eiger/Ebony MY10 3.0 RRS TDv6 Fuji/Ebony/Anigre Last edited by Zilch on Tue Aug 03 2010 11:38pm. Would go new again if i got another, but will wait for the bugs to be ironed out on the MY10, maybe a MY12, as for a FFRR, not quite ready for the pipe and slippers As for a Toyo, i was so p155ed off Sunday night after nursing it back from QLD for 23 hours, that i checked out the prices on a new Prado, the Kakadu which is basically same spec as the Sport, is the same price on the road as a 3.0 V6 sport It will stay for now.. But imagine having to look at a Prado every day.....it isn't a good looking vehicle and doesn't drive as nicely as the RRS, it's much more truck like on the road. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6
