United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Pictures - Finally!!!

Well, as the weather hasn't cleared up, and I haven't had the chance to take any pictures with the sunlight letting the paintwork pop, I thought I'd take a few snaps today and fire them up anyway....

I was looking for a change from my E92 330d, and I was gonna go one of two ways - silly or sensible(ish!)

I had looked at lots of cars, ranging as far as new 5 series (not convinced), 6 series, facelift 3 series (including V8 M3), even a couple of Porsche's, but in the end I went with something very different.

I really liked the idea of a big 4x4, and in my opinion, if you are going that way, there is only one to go for - the Range Rover Sport.

I had taken test drives in the X5, X6, Q7, but they were all good in their own ways, they didn't compare to the new model RRS.

So I specced a new 2010 model Range Rover Sport HSE in Santorini Black, with black perforated leather and black stitching. Privacy Glass all round, and sidesteps, and I also added in the sunroof and Hybrid (analogue and digital) TV. It's also got the detachable tow kit (and I have used it already!)

Picked it up a month ago yesterday, and I have to say, it is just the most comfortable thing to drive! I have done several long trips in it, and the air suspension is a gift - just so comfortable. It handles very well (for a 2-odd tonne jeep!) and is pretty quick too - stats are 240bhp and 600nM of torque - and there will be a chip on it as soon as one is available! It's returning a healthy 31mpg, so no complaints there, and as I said, it is decked out inside with driver and passenger comfort being a priority, with heated seats front and rear, and even a fridge built in!

The biggest changes is the interior, with the RRS having a complete redesign over the older 'industrial' interior, with much nicer finishes, leather everywhere, and seats fully adjustable.

Only mod I have done, was new wheels straight away! Picked the RRS up with 3 miles on the clock, and drove straight to Armo @ Street Racer and had my new wheels fitted.... well I couldn't roll standard, so went with a set of 22" split overfinch supersport rims!

Anyway, enough rambling on - i'm gonna pic whore here. Hope you lot like it!

thanks very much for all the kind comments guys...

@ PPE - that's a garden up at my mum & dads house! kinda like a picture taking spot for me over the years!
@ BKHK - i really must stop referring to it as a jeep!

@ V8 Andy & Alex - wheels were ordered in by my friend who has a shop over here - told him I wanted a dish & also loved the supersport rims, and he came up with these!

thanks to all you guys for your kind comments - i made the right choice thanks to reading into this forum, and getting good help & advice!

@ Vadim - thats from another Northern Ireland based site I'm on a lot - reallymeansounds.com

@ASH - thats the same comment a few of my mates have put up on RMS - I really should've straightened it for taking the pics!

Thanks again guys
