Hi guys ive just put a deposit on a 2007 / 57 ( regd 27th december 2007 i bet the salesman loved him ) range rover sport 3.6 HSE V8 one owner FSH 40000 miles in silver with black leather and wood, it still has 6 month RR factory warranty and had an health check were they replaced the front suspension usual bushes, i will only have it in a couple of weeks cos of my number plate transfer pius it needs taxing from the 1st of august. After doing my research the 3.6 was comeing out better than the 2.7, i have gone for the diesel because i do about 12000 mile a year, i fell out with range rovers back in 2002, were my last RR 4.2 LTD edition gave more trouble than the taliban, I.E mostly suspension, 13 visits to the main dealers in 16 month, i have owned about 25 plus Range rovers from the late 70s and loved them all, so i will post pics and comments in the futor, the RR sport drove beutifully with loads of power and comfort with a 28 MPG on the computor, (that cant be right ) plus i am used to raw power as my other toy is an AC Cobra with a 6 ltre V8 400 BHP and 470 Torque, O to 60 3.8 secs 170 mph plus, no i aint got over 145 mph, my balls whent, So wot do you think guys good choice or wot.

Welcome Rangrov - you've defo made the right choice, so don't worry about that. The V8 diesel is the best engine around. So good LR have just discontinued it lol.

excellent choice & as for the mpg im getting 30+ using it right.hope you enjoy it as much as i do mine,you won't be disapointed.

Thanks Martin you are a star, i have put a couple of pics of my cobra cos a few of you requested it, 5.7 chevy V8 Beast, plus i have put a pic of my present car till i trade it in for my RR V8 TD HSE.
