Hi still havnt made my mind up to remap or to not, has anyone had the remap done for a long time and still happy with performance and engine running sweet, cant help thinking that if you add to the performance of any diesel engine you are just adding more fuel ( turning the pump up ) and will just cause more wear in the long run, having said that the TDV6 is no superchrager and after a few months cant stop thinking even more about a remap 2006 RR SPORT TDV6 HSE SILVER 22 STORMERS RUNNING BOARDS FULLY COLOUR CODED WIND DEFLECTORS CHROME MIRRORS WINDOW TINTS |

I was also in the beginning reluctant to do a remap. After 2 years I decided to take the BAS remap (Bells Auto Service) and I must say this is amazing. The car is very smooth and drives much much better. Also full consumption is little better now. You really should take the BAS remap, the cars needs it and it is very easy to install |

Had both the 06 and 10 remapped, awesome difference, the car comes alive and realises its potential, remember to tell your insurance company though, and may void your warranty claims, but wow, needs to be done purple people eater

Hi Mate, Was it the TDV6 3.0 you had done or is it the TDV8 If the 3.0 then who did it and was it a chip or a re-map "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence. "TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you. |

sorry been off line for a bit, will dig out details and pm you. They came to my home and did it, no fuss. Pick up after was sensational and the whole gear change experience felt so much better. it was the RRS TDV6, both the 06 and the 10 purple people eater
