Its a HST tim (got to get out more). You can tell by the side vents. The Stormer had chrome ones. But i bet you knew that already mate. |

I'll be more of an anorak and say it's a Stormer....................... if you click on the photo and expand it and look at the side vents there are two fins in it, real HSTs have chromed intakes with no fins.................... |

I have a real factory HST and have the same side vents. Thats what it says on my log book. Bought mine from dealer so i hope mine is one. But as i said will wonker has the chrome ones and he says he has a real HST to. So who will know? Is this one for bobby? |

There are about 4 different version of HST, originally it was dealer kit , then a factory special, then a dealer stick on kit again and finally they were cars taken off the line and run through a special finishing area at the factory - it could be that depending on the "version" it could be either car! I think we can safely say it isn't a supercharged.................. unless it's burning oil and been de-badged |

SUNROOF ! Of course! God your good. Never spoted that. So its a fake. Nice one Tim. So how do HST owners find out which one they have? Or who built theres then? Wonder which one is better to have, a factory one or a dealer one? |

The dealers only fitted the bumpers, tail finishers and spoilers due to bodykit supply issues. I wouldn't say that there was any difference between them in terms of workmanship. I understand that they were fitted by hand at the factory anyway, so it's much of a muchness. If someone reminds me next week I'll get the chassis from reg and spec check it. I'm not convinced about the sunroof but I am looking at this on an iPhone whilst sat on the M6! James

You will find here some of the First Editions from 2005/6 minus some accessories that LR said are exclusive! The "normal" SC's were better equipped than the First Editions!!!  Malaysia Boleh!

My 08 factory HST has a sunroof, Karmon Hardon 13 speaker stereo, lined oak trim pieces and a different back axle (not sure how you can tell what the difference is). The body kit is an obvious give away but mine had normal side vents fitted so not sure about them.

Which speaker did they drop? My MY 08 HSE has 14. Could the diffrent rear axle be the e-diff? if so then you can see a small motor on it for locking up the diff, from memory it is on right but I'll have a look when I change the wheels over later today.
