Will have to pop in and see you sometime - I am just near Tadcaster. What every RR sport owner will be thinking though is Warranty, warranty, warranty.....

I dont think warranty should be a issue from a wheel change unless the dealer is a real mard arse lol.

Hiya all

Really sorry for the short intro.
Although you may know Pete, (BAS) my partner better, I myself don't post here often, which is a bit of a mystery really because technology wise, which is my area of expertise is concerned, the Range Rover Sport and Disco 3 are identical. Yet in the Disco 3 forum, i have over 850 posts and am well known for !!!!

well never mind. Whistle Whistle Whistle

As many of you will know, the 2010 has the new and exciting option of some rather cool paddle switch controls for gearbox shifting, mounted on the back of the steering wheel.
Despite being otherwise totally incompatible, I have already managed to make the 2010 wheel work on previous models in respect of all Cruise and Audio controls

http://www.youtube.com/user/BBSP38#p/a/u/0/PnD8gilLNk4

However i really seek to take this one stage further and add ACC, Heated and paddle shift control with a view to further enhancements such as EAS height control.

Not surprisingly, this will not be cheap or easy for me to do, although i am sure of the technology required, and TBH its really turning into a numbers game.

As such, for better or worse, i thought it's a reasonable idea to post here and give RRS owners the nod, offering just opportunity to add whatever input you might wish.
