Fuji White V's Alaska White

We had our first Fuji White RRS arrive yesterday, and we were all q-white suprised by the new colour. Although the picture below isn't a brilliant one, you will see that Fuji is far brighter and cleaner than Alaska white and much closer to Chawton White from launch (eh Misery?).

as said before Alaska has a slight creamyness to it

Parking my Alaska white car next to my mates white Audi A3 the other week, it gave the appearance like my paint was sprayed on thicker due to it been shades darker and the audi would be down to the primer just by touching it

Fuji gives a similar effect by the looks of it Confused

Nice though, maybe the next car will be Fuji unless the trend goes away from white Cool

It appears from the photo a much more Gloss white on the Fuji, very similar to the colour you achieve if you have the vinyl wraps applied

The premiership will be impressed i am sure!!!! Laughing

Tim - Fuji is just a standard solid paint.

It looks much brighter, and could in fairness have more layers of laquer as there is a real shine to it. It looks as bright as the Audi white, however it isn't quite as flat looking. It's got a really nice shine to it.

I was concerned that due to the name it would have a blue tinge to it, however it is a very pure bright clean white.

I was under the impression that White paint is the only colour that doesn't have a laquered finish. Anyone care to add to this?

I was told it does have a clear coat

And when I had one if my lower trim resprayed they finished it with a clear, looks identical to other sections too

Also under bonnet the unlacquered parts are dull
