iTunes help

OK I have an iMac PC, windows XP laptop and an iPhone 3g.............................. the iPhone and the laptop share itunes and I can sync my podcasts/music etc between the two without any problems - when I try to sync the iphone to the mac then I loose all my apps etc from the phone and have to resync with my laptop. So how do I get the iMac to join the party without wiping everything off my iPhone? I'm about to replace the laptop with an ipad or macbook so will also want the same itunes files on that too. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Have you tried manually managing it instead of automatically synching? MY10 HSE 3.0 TDV6 : Santorini Black : Ebony Interior w/Anigre wood : Privacy Glass (total) : Sunroof : Sidesteps : Hybrid TV : Detachable Tow Kit : Spare Wheel Cover : 22" Dished Supersports

Tim I had a similar issue, as I use multiple PC's with itunes on them. Basically just sync with the PC or Mac that you intend buying apps or music from, otherwise it will blast over the top with whatever is in the other PC.

I did once lose all of my contacts - over 500 on the phone, as it was compeltely wiped Big Cry However the good old backup saved me, so just ensure you backup before pushing the button !

Whilst I love the MAC, I just wish they would communicate better with PC's Whistle

I seem to have found a fix by accident................... I copied the iTunes library folders onto my remote hard-drive and then imported them into the iMac, seems to have worked ok (so far with fingers and toes crossed!) 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
