I once had this in my disco 3. I then found out as I clunk to a halt on the M62 my fuel needle had bust. Car thinks its half full of fuel and not using any but travelling distance there fore MPG and range shoots up. I never noticed as SWMBO had been driving the car few days before so it did not register i was approaching 400 miles with still half a tank left. RAC found it amusing though
