has anyone made this change? Curious to hear your feedback, what with the impending removal of the TDV8 from the build spec. In my mind the TDV8 is simply sublime and will be sorely missed!

made the change myself from the MY10 TDV6, unfortunatley cant make a true comparrison cos put the V8 in a FF! purple people eater

Having had the 2.7 TDV6 and having driven quite a few of the previous V8's and now owning an MY10 3.0 TDV6 my opinion is that the V8 was far superior to the old 2.7 V6 and on balance it is still superior to the 3.0 V6. But, it's a close run thing and is not enough of a difference to justify the extra cost of the V8 (IMHO).
