My Range Rover Sport

Well I have had it since January so thought I would make a journal.

As many of you are aware I used to own this supercharged version which I bought as a standard HSE and added a few extras :

After a visit to an Audi dealership I fell in love with the Q7, so the Rnage was sold and a high spec 3.0TDI Q7 was ordered, which after a few small extras ended like this

I then decided I would like to go back to a sports car, I was originally set on an e90 M3 but on the visit to the dealership it was a lovely summers day and an e93 330 m sport convertible was sat outside and I ended up signing a very good deal, again I added a few extras and that then ended up like this

Anyway a time came when I decided to free up some cash, so I bought an Evo 8 MR340, again a few extras were added and that turned out like this

Well That led from last January till this one where I had always wanted another Range Sport, I dedcided I wanted a TDV6 HSE in Black/Black. The search began, at the time due to weather being that normally seen in lapland they were very sought after. I finally found a very high spec one in Kings Lynn Land Rover and a deal was done.

2006
TDV6 HSE
31,000 miles
BLACK/BLACK
Sunroof
20" stormers
side steps
supercharged grilles
fitted carpet mats
inner sill covers
privacy glass
mirror covers
mud flaps
12 months warrenty
6 months tax
12 months assistance
full tank of fuel

due to the milage spec and condition and availibility I paid top book price really but I was happy and here it is the day I arrived back but after I changed the orange side repeators for tinted ones I had already purchased

A couple of months later I decided to change the alloys, I loved the ones on my first Range Sport so bought the same ones again.

I hope you don't mind me asking but how long did it take to do the circuit from RRS to RRS and I dread to think how much money it has cost!

money dont count when it come to cars, if it did we would never enjoy that. . . "this is it" feeling. . . if you want to make finance work, buy premium bonds not cars purple people eater

I think the full tank of fuel pulled you over the line, didn't it? SW

Thanks for comments, The first one was actually bonnetti grey but I did love it,

The first RRS was bought in July 2008 - Dec 2008
Q7 Jan 2009 - Apr 2009
Bmw Apr 2009 - oct 2009
evo oct 2009 - dec 2009
RRS Jan 2010 - ??

It has not cost me as much as you would think, my BMW I got more than I paid and the Evo I broke even as a friend of mine was desperate for it,

considering I bought the Q7 brand new the loss was minimal as at the time no one was buying cars so the car was a £53000 spec but I paid £44000 and sold for £42000. the RRS was the biggest loss as I sold at the time no one was buying it owed me about £33000 and I sold for £29000.

Like them all Andy.......apart from your lapse in judgement when you bought the Evo Big Cry

Love the alloys on the RRS, are they 22s, where are they from and how much?
