My baby is coming up for her 60k mile service and wondered if anyone can recommend an independent specialist in Essex, around the Billericay area.

I spoke to Lookers in Chelmsford and they quoted £560 which included engine flush..... Is this something that is recommended???

I’ve used www.mansfield4x4.co.uk a number of times, both with my RRS and my previous Freelander. They’re no-nonsense, and give advice rather than pushing for work, where it’s not 100% necessary, so this has always given me confidence that they’re not ripping me off.

I’ve just had a set of EBC front brakes put on by them, and they were VERY competitive, pretty much the same cost as getting the OEM’s fitted at the dealer. So all in a bargain from my perspective.

They’re the other side of Essex to you in Manningtree (CO11 2LH), but it might be worth the trip or at least a phone call?
