Hi, has anyone done this on a 2010 model. is it just a case of plug in or does something have to be done for the camera system to enable the trailer hitch view ?

What kind of electrics should I go with? 7 pin single or 13 pin double

Totally new to this, so no idea RRS TDV8 HSE in Stornoway Grey/Alpaca/Rhodium/Multimedia/Privacy Glass

I have the 13 pin with a 13 to 7 adapter for those occasions I'm towing a trailer with a 7 pin plug (which is most of them!) Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

I also have the single 13 Pin fitted as this is the current european standard and so any current trailers / caravans etc will have this fittment. I just bought an adapter from Halfords for connection to twin 7 pin fittings

i would go 13 (with the adapter), most new caravans etc are going that way, so i presume trailer, lighting boards etc will go that way too
