Minor service for the RRS is now £399 and £499 for a major service. Not bad value, til I phoned a local independent LR specialist who quoted me £250 and £350!! FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Stratstones are price matching across the country, just had the 5th year service on mine done yesterday for £299.

Had it done in Newport, but as I work near Leicester they checked the Stratstones in Nottingham in case I wanted to go there, it was offered for the same price. Ex-G4 Challenge RRS HSE, BV55 YZE. Subtle shade of orange ! Now registered YZE481 G4RRS in Melbourne.

I have to book my major service this week so could do with finding the cheapest current price for a main dealer....any ideas out there?????

just had my 30k service done at stratstones pickering £280 & that included the full printout/medical what ever you call it.

funnily enough, I took a sales call this afternoon from Parks Motor Group (who I bought the car from) to remind me that the car is 3 years old next month and it is due an annual service and an MOT.

I have booked it in to be done at Parks Landrover in Ayr (must give Codfather a shout and see if he is up for meeting for breakfast!). 3 year service (she has 34k miles on the clock: I have been quoted for the service £270 inc vat. The MOT is £45.

yes - whichever comes first. In my case it is an annual visit to the dealers for a service as I am at 34k miles at 3 years old If you see a bandwagon - it's too late.....

Parks in Ayr have done my last 2 services. They were OK and even offered discounts without being prompted. This time they called me to book the car and I said I planned on going to Shields for convenience - they offered the price of £270 which I thought was good. I'll give you feedback once the car is done on 26 June If you see a bandwagon - it's too late.....
