Scary moment!

Doing 110 (kmh) down dual carriageway when suddenly drivers side of the bonnet flipped up and started waving around. No indication of the dash at all previous to this and only the drivers side catch had come undone. Passenger side still secure.

checked it over slammed it shut and was OK the rest of the journey home but still a Censored heart stopping moment.

Was there some other reports of this a while back cannot find anything on search

Need to make sure both catches engaged - whenever someone has the bonnet open - has happened to me a couple of time but nothing along the lines of the bonnet coming up

Happened to me as well - on the M4 in Cardiff! Told my mate about it who's got a Lexus and he said that the Lexus will warn you if the bonnet is not shut properly! One for Land Rover to think about! Thumbs Up CURRENT: 3.0TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey, Privacy Glass, Rear DVDs, Extended Leather
