United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black
Replacing front screen for non heated

The car is fantastic; only gripe is from the wife who cannot stand the element filled front screen. I can't see them. She, apparently, sees nothing else! Does anyone else have this problem. There is a chip in the screen and so i will look to having it changed - my question is; presumably they do a non element screen? It really is driving her mad ........

Thanks

I think everyone finds it strange at first but you do get used to it. The problem is now she is probably looking for it rather than looking past it.

Its a shame you got the car in the summer as the first time you get to use it on a frozen morning all is forgiven! I have wondered before if it is standard in warmer countries as they get none of the benefit but have to put up with it all the time. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

It seems to be standard on all fords now even basic Fiesta's and you don't hear about many people complaining. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

Tell her you cannot get one without and buy a set of sun glasses Thumbs Up

Or have her sit in the back - that will also make it quieter Laughing

Wouldn't be without the heated screen, and now heated steering wheel! At -19c more heated the better.
