Farewell for now!

Well, after 18 months of RRS ownership I've just sold my car to Matthew & James @ LPR - sorry guys, I know it wasn't the transaction we were both discussing until recently (!), but I have no doubt I'll be back in the forseeable future to buy an RRS or RR from you...!

Thank you for a very professional and straight forward transaction anyway.

I'll definitely still keep an eye on the forum, and it's proved to be a great source of information and advice, so thank you all.

I handed over my RRS to Matthew on Saturday and don't pick up my new motor until this coming Saturday, so have been borrowing a 1 litre Toyota Yaris (and had to drive up to Derby and back from London yesterday...without aircon!) for the past couple of days, and it reminded me what a great mile muncher the RRS is, niggles aside!

I'm now like a fat kid waiting for the sweet shop to open and can't wait to get my hands on my new car on Saturday.... Twisted Evil

Take it easy all and I'll be back at some stage, being the car whore that I am.... Thumbs Up

JT

Richard,

I was all set to 'upgrade' to a TDV8RRS, but I've had a particular itch for a couple of years now......and have gone for an 08 plate RS4 Avant.... Mr. Green

I'm going to miss lots of things about the RRS, but that 4.2l V8 will make up for it IMO....if not the fuel economy...!

I toyed with a RS4 after my Evo. Lovely car. I know it's like any other car as they all have problems but be careful with the shocks as they are a very common problem. You probably already know this tho Thumbs Up
