Here is my other toy, its a MY2000 (registered in 2001) Impreza P1. For those that dont know the P1 stood for Prodrive 1 and was the last limited edition on the 'classic' shape impreza in the UK. It was originally an STi V Impreza that was tweaked by Prodrive at Banbury (they rallied the Impreza). I help run the owners club at www.p1woc.co.uk. Its currently running 350BHP on 1.5 Bar boost and about 320 Ft/Lbs of Torque. Figures dont seem that good compared to the RRS S/C I am getting but it weighs under 1250Kg's

I traded in a Prodrive tuned 2003 STi Type UK for the RRS, it put a little over 300bhp at the wheels and 0-100km/h in 4.2 seconds. The mapping was switchable too between normal and higher performance, I had one big problem tho and that was a shortage of high octane petrol with the nearest garage 20 miles away and the next one 110 miles there was always at least 5 bottles of Millers octane boost in the cubby hole in the boot Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh Clan Cameron |

Recently added to my garage a 2010 (but they call it 2011 model) Lotus Elise Touring. Still haven't managed to wipe the smile from my face. Although every time I get back in to the Rangey I start smiling so personally feel I have the best of both worlds!

Great looking cars mate......and it's good having the two extremes - one very low down and one very high up - makes you appreciate them both even more.......it's a great feeling driving the RRS after driving a low down sports. I like the R32 a lot, being a big Golf Fan - and looking to try and get a GTI 30 Edition in 3 door, in white as a daily car.....
