Suprcharged buying advice

Hi all, Im currently looking around for my next purchase, I am quite fancying a RRS 4.2sc. I realise the mpg might be on the low side but we dont do a massive amount of miles. Any advice on what they are like to live with as a daily runner also what should I be looking out for when I view. Looking at 2006(56) models what should I be looking to pay.

Cheers
Allan Thumbs Up

I've got the supercharged HST 08 for the last 6 months and i love it. Do not do a lot of millage so mpg was not high on my list. They have got all the extras on them witch is the dogs ! If you can afford it than go for it big time. Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Santorini Black

Had the RRS SC for a year now and absolutely love it, its quick, goes round corners like nothing else for its size, it is thirsty but dont do mega mileage, you know what they say.... you cant run a champagne car on lemonade money!!!!

Get the best one you can afford with all the bells and whistles and you wont be dissappointed.

Problems wise has needed handbrake shoes and fitting kit as n/s shoes broke up, intermittant suspension rising and lowering problem which goes away for a while when you switch it off and on again. HDC fault coming up, but that was down to battery power low over the winter period. 2 mile journey to work and back with the blowers, heated screens, seats etc on and not giving the alternator enough time to re-charged/top up battery.

Go for it Allan Citroen C6
Dodge Ram Dually Cummins
Audi RS6
RRS Supercharged
TVR Griffith 500
TVR T350C
Random stuff
BMW 740 Loaded. Gone n missed
Nissan 300zx TT man Brit Spec. Gone

1 the new phone would not work in the car and had to pair it up every time but the dealer could not update the softwear so had to buy a new module

2 ant rol bar bushes all shot

3 both wish bones bushes gone

4 two alloys were bent which has made a problem with the tracking as the tracking was out all the tyres wore out one the edges

5 hight sensor went and the car kept leaning in one corner

spent £3000 on it in two months and the rrs sc has only done 30k miles

but well worth it as all ok now and runs like a dream plus its not really its own fault more like the idiot i bought it off!!!!!!!

getting around 15 to 18 mpg and like theother guys only do 30 miles a day so not really worryed about the MPGs but when you want to have a play with a chave put it this way most dont have a chance

2007 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HST Zermatt Silver

I too wanted a Supercharged one and was lucky enough to find a Silver HST one just as the second hand car market was at it's lowest Thumbs Up

Problems i ve had in just over a year was a problem with the HDC but that was rectified under warranty. Apart from that she's been as good as gold.

MPG wise, perhaps it's the way i drive it but struggle to get 15mpg usually running around the 14 mark.

Buying wise you really do pays your money and takes your choice. There are plenty of rubbish ones out there. Id make sure it had a FLRSH for at least the period it was under warranty and preferably it's entire life.
