Bike rack recommendation

I am in need of advice. Very Happy

I want to be able to have a towbar mounted bike rack for my car but also i need to be able to use the towbar at the same time. Can anyone recommend one that is tried and tested?

I already have the removeable towbar with electrics which i will stick with as i don't want a perminent one fitted, it would ruin the looks of the car for the odd time i need to use it.

You cannot fit other towbars for the LR biker.
And the multi-height keeps the bastards away from your rear bumper.
Believe me, my wife's BMW got enough bruises from those poor brains who cannot park without knocking your car. 2010 TDV6 3.0 HSE Santorini Black Tan Full Leather

I have been looking online at the MaxxRaxx bike carrier that sayes it works on a swan neck towbar and enables you to tow at the same time. It is the only one that i have been able to find, but thought i would ask what others are using with the removeable towbar.

I have thule euroway bike rack - spot on but you cannot tow when fitted - not heard of one where you could...

What are you towing ? it may be a fixed towbar on the rear of your caravan or trailer could be used for the bike rack Question

That is a good thought, but it is a trailer tent, so aerodynamically it would not be ideal to have the bikes on the back as they would be stuck up in the air. I suppose you could fit that on the front of the trailer, but then would the attached bike rack be designed for that as it would be getting the wind force in the opposite direction from its intended design. hmmm

Fiamma do a bike rack that attaches to the A bar at the front of a caravan/trailor

Not suitable is you have a fiberglass cover on it but it might be possible to get round it

Mine is really sturdy and it would be sheltered in any case by the 'box' section of the RRS ....
