Well Lawrenson

Before I even considered you for a job, I would send you to school to learn to spell and speak properly.

No such word as "youse" no such word as "carnt". Are you a sheep farmer with female sheep? Also, I am not sure whether you mean to imply "cannot or can't" or whether you are referring to female genitalia. Rolling with laughter Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

an new RRS costs around £1k per month (worst case - including service/insurance/tyres etc). If you can afford that witin your budget then you'll be fine

going off topic a bit i know exactly what you mean, the missus is an english teacher who is pedantic in the extreame about spelling and grammar, but she cant get on with teaching kids who come up from primary without basic english skills!!

back to topic , if i was still living at home and not having to spend a thing for two weeks at a time, then i would have something a bit more special to run about in!!! 911, aston , etc MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged Wink ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps!

I'm the Sales Manager for a Land Rover and Jaguar dealership in London, therefore I am lucky enough to not have to buy one, however the Chancellor relieves me of a large amount of money for the privilege. Evil or Very Mad

If you are on an Oil Rig then save as hard as you can whilst you are off-shore and then have a look in the classifieds for something that fits the bill. They have appeared on the market from £15k which is pretty good value for money.

I now know of 5 forum members who are in the 'security' industry........ perhaps that's a clue as to where the RRS money is!!

James (unfortunately not 007) Thumbs Up

James,

The only problem with the 'Security' industry is that we are never around to drive the bloody things...

But iv always been a quality not a quantity guy, so when I am around I get the most out of it.

I don't think it's down to a job, it's more to do with what your outgoings are Wink

That's me and I'm still lurking. I had Range Rovers for 25 years, worked in the oil industry for 32 years, and now drive a DB9. Still miss the RRS and when I save up some more pennies, I'm going to have another one as well as the DB9 - can't part with it, it's too much fun. Whistle
