Help an Aussie pick his new RRS model!!

Hi Guys;
Im after abit of assistance on purchasing my new RRS. In 2008 I bought a new TDV8, which I had sell last year due to personal issues. Loved the car immensley, and miss it alot.
Im now in a position to get back into the RRS family, but am undecided on which model to buy.
My choices are (all used propositions, rather than new):-
1. 2007 TDV8
2. 2008 TDV8 (is there any difference to '07 model?)
3. 2005 or 2006 Supercharged

I love the sound of the Supercharged V8, and recently drove an 06 which I thought was very tuff.
I have a budget, so I want to get the most car for my money (with the lowest k's possible too)

Any advice???

Cheers, Rhys

Australia 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Chawton White

Greetings - The TDV8 is going to give you better km/l than the supercharged, and yes there are slight updates between the 06/07 and 08 models.

If I was in your shoes would get the 08 TDV8 just because I wouldn't want the running costs of the petrol for the supercharged.

Try and get some sort of warranty with the car of you can. If something goes wrong it will be expensive.

Thanks 2nd Rower.

What were the differences between the 07 and 08 TDV8??

What are the risks with the supercharged models of 05 and 06? Did they have any common issues?

Thanks

G'day, whatever you do, don't drive a MY10 5.0L S/C, there is simple no turning back.

I've only had mine 28hrs, the power is insane and in fact a little ridiculous, but sounds sooooo! good.

Good Luck MY2010 RRS 5.0L S/C - finally has arrived, out with turbo lag, in with the neck breaking V8!!!

agree with 2nd, TDv8, would love a supercharge, but i do not want to be a shareholder in CALTEX or BP Whistle

the TDv8 still has a nice V8 rumble Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

The SC isn't that bad - average of 14 - 17 l /100km

Got 13 l/100km on a 1 hour hwy trip recently.

Its worth it for the fun factor !!!
