Hi everyone,

My 05 HSE which has only done 28k, had reason to be in my local stealer over the last couple of days for some work to be carried out on her. I received a phone call from them today claiming that they have found a small oil leak coming from a seal at the front end of the gearbox. They say that they need to drop the whole gearbox to get to this seal and replace it, stating that it would be at least 10 hours or more in labour.

I have to be honest, and say I've never noticed any oil stains on the driveway and is something I look for and do on a reguarly bases just in case.

Has anyone else had this problem and if so, is there any cheaper options of getting this job done?
