I have gone from the TDV8 to the SC... on a 70mp CC run 24mpg was the average, yes if you want fast, fast, fast mpg will drop to 14ish... but then you are taking Porsche Carrera 4 specs (I have a friend who only gets 15ish with 0-62 in 5.1)..... if you want sapce take a look at the M5 touring; M5 Touring £67,905 Petrol 35% 348 19.3 507 4.8 If you drive miles and miles then stick with a deisel.... if not SC all the way Or if you want to go crazy, for £97k buy yhr Audi Q7 V12 diesel with almost the same performance as the SC with a combined mpg of 11.3 GONE** RRS 3.0SC Silver fully loaded - 2020 110 loving it BMW R1200GSA Rallye GONE** Fiesta ST2 - Mrs Wokka's - AMG35 now GONE**BMW K1600GTLE Matt Blue GONE**Disco 4 2014 Firenze Red GONE**Evoque SD4 Dynamic Coupe GONE**RRS 5.0 SC GONE**RRS HSE TDV8 GONE**RRS HSE TDV8 (The Crap one) GONE**FL Facelift GONE**FL 1 GONE**D1 GONE**BMW R1200GS Adventure GONE: Kawasaki ZX10R GONE: Focus ST2 ** Chinook CH47 - 2 x T55 engines 3,750 hp each!! 183mph, 2xM134 Miniguns, 1xM60 |

Regarding the "controversial" MPH - KM/H digital speed display on the lower right corner of the TFT display: Does it show by default on European cars or does it need to be enabled through a menu in the user settings? Apparently that information is missing from the display of North American cars (only the selected gear is shown on the opposite corner), and over on the US forum we are all trying to figure out why?

Mine shows the digital MPH all the time and I've not seen any option to enable/disable it. I can switch it to KMH though. Thanks Richard, must be the same reason why in North America we cannot operate the satnav with the car in motion, why we can remotely open the windows of a MY2010 - but not close them... |

“So summarise: Currently the ridiculously powerful and awesome sounding V8 is the star of the show, but I’m concerned that once we get used to that, the lasting and overwhelming experience is going to be the noisy / knocking suspension and road noise / harshness in the road surfaces that is being transferred to the steering wheel and cabin. I’m actually convinced that on long trips and in day to day use, those aspects will become very annoying and the cause of lots of fatigue.”

Picking up the 2010 S/C 3pm tomorrow, looking forward to comparing notes and having the awesome V8 sound ringing in my ears. MY2010 RRS 5.0L S/C - finally has arrived, out with turbo lag, in with the neck breaking V8!!!
