Mate you don't have to bring your new RRS with you - as he won't be working on your car but one of his own and panels he has there - so as to perfect the technicque and teach you how to do it - don't think I would want to practice on my own car anyway, until I know what I am doing!!!

mate it would cost you between £500-£600 for paint correction and inside the car too. If you get it done, it will need doing again after a few washes....depends how you look after it. I am going to a detailer in Ascot, who is going to teach me how to use a Dual Action Polisher (better than a rotary in that you won't be able to do any damage with a DA). Better to buy a DA for £100 or so, and to be able to maintain it......come along if you like - he may have some space left - £75 I think for the day.....

The exterior enhancement detail which was shown in your first post

Only cost the owner £200 to have it prepared Wink

All respect to these guys who do it, but..............................

These new paints are crap Exclamation Mr. Green

Why do we except it so easliy, shell out several hundred quid to keep the car looking good.

Landrover paint used to be great, could do it by hand and polish out scratches which were much harder to get in the first place.

By the time you use all the power tools and chemicals to do it how much better is it for the enviroment.

Seems to be a general trend lower and lower quality dressed up as enviromental issues at a higher and higher cost Twisted Evil

I use to enjoy the reward of looking after and cleaning the car, but now it is a dissappointing exercise that you know will have to go to a specialists to get it looking half decent again.

FFS can't we get a paint or protective layer on a car in the 21st century that won;t scratch everytime a fly walks over it Exclamation Exclamation
