It's often an sticky EGR valve - as Jimmy says might self fix. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I had this problem on my MY10 TDV8. It was alledgedly solved by a software update as part of the 'MY10 Quality Assurance Programme' - haven't had it recurr since. The programme sorted a long list of software gremlins as I understand. However if your vehicle was only recently delivered it should have already been applied. Get it back to the dealer as it is a pain having to keep stopping the car to get it out of it's 'hypochondriac mode'.

I had this happen once. As well as the warning to STOP Did you notice if there was also an image of the car in the centre display console with what looked like 2 arrows coming from the car (left & right) bending down towards the ground. This is the indicator for when you are off road and arein danger of tipping the car over. As I was parked in my driveway at the time I doubt the car was about to fall over
