Newbie

I have quietly been watching this forum since I ordered my RRS SE in February which is hopefully scheduled to leave the factory on Thursday and I thought it was time to introduce myself.

Thankfully the wait has not been to difficult as I have had a few holidays since ordering the car to break up the agony.

I couldnt justify the cost of a HSE so ordered a SE in Santorini Black with rear parking camera, front parking sensors, IPOD lead, rubber mats, premium mats, loadspace tray, side steps and mud flaps.

The HSE had various items I didnt consider as necessary.

My existing car (Lexus GS300) has a rear parking camera/front parking sensors and I find them invaluable when trying to park in small spaces in town.

I decided on both rubber and luxury mats as an element of my work involves being on muddy building sites so I will use the rubber mats when I know I need to attend site particularly in winter months and the premium mats other times.

Since ordering the car I am amazed how many RRS are on the Island, its funny how I never paid much attention to them until I ordered mine. I have seen at least two Kahn versions as well.

Welcome Thumbs Up
I got a set of rubber mats as well as the carpet mats, I think the rubber ones have seen about 95% use especialy as we are renovating an old farm house at the moment.
I went for the HSE as they only made the TDV8 in HSE and some of the toys are useful as well Smile Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh

2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Santorini Black

Enjoy. Sounds very similar to the RRS I have on order. I'm hoping to take delivery before the end of May. Said RRS is now on order.

welcome to the "SE" club!! i thought exactly the same as you about the HSE, after reading some of the scare mongering on the forum that goes along with RRS ownership, i thought that the less fancy toys on the car the less chance i was going to have problems, and i was determined i WAS going to enjoy the ownership experience!! so far so good, although 10 days and 400 miles is hardly going to show up many problems! i am loving mine so far and cant wait till it is fully run in, and try out my "flappy paddles" which was my only consession to "boys toys"
cheers
dave
