Cost of replacement rear window

Hi All,

Just had some lovely person smash my rear window, which was very kind of them. Does anyone know how much a new Rear Window + fitting should cost from the garage?

Thanks

Cheers Paul,

I have window insurance and made a claim for a stoned Wind Screen already this year! Does glass insurance cover other windows other then the windscreen?

Sorry if that sounds thick.

Thanks

Just Spoken to Insurance/Auto Glass and they will be replacing it today. This is under Glass Cover and my excess is £70.

Good to get something out of my Insurance to justifiy my £2700.00 annual premium.

intrestingly enough they are replacing it with a factory Tinted window which was nice as mine was after market.

The girl at Auto Glass said they kept good stock of the glass as lots of people seemed to get vandalised.

Sad

I recently had mine into the dealership for EGR Valves and my rear heated window has stopped working.

They told me that it needs replacing as the moulded heat sensors on the window need replacing and that it would be £400!

Yeah the £2700 annual premium is a pisds take, But thats the 'joy' of living in central london where the nice folk seem fit to slasdh tyres and smash windows....

I did actully take out seperate tyre insurance for £199 per year which cover me for 5 tyres over 2 years.

Thats a huge amount on the insurance, i live just outside london but i still come under the enfield/barnet area for insurance and ive always found it cheapish, my old Evo was insured at my dads and that cost me more than the M3

Wow!! The Daddy is £947 a year, just renewed last week & RRS is around £450 i think but any over 30 years old
Maybe wrong on RRS as we had a Merc before & I had to pay some silly amount as admin to change the car.

Why do you pay admin when it is an online broker. Why do we pay a booking fee for booking anything online Big Cry

Sorry ranting & off topic......... Again Sheep

Seriously mate Id look at another comp site & if its worth it change & pay a refund fee. Rolls Royce Ghost, RRS 2.7 TDV6, E220 Avantgarde Estate.
