Its worth considering something to protect the seat since the isofix holds the child seat very tight against the leather.

The ISOFix is great but IMO only for children who would use a forward facing seat. For a newborn I would always use the carry seat so that the baby is facing to the rear of the car when traveling. I seem to remember that in the event of an accident the force of the crash is absorbed better this way. Do your own research though. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I do use isofix.. and I placed some Alcantara between leather and baby seat to protect the leather from the metal attachments. Even better is to place a little bit bigger piece of Alcantara or similar fabric also to protecyt the sides of the seat, because I know how the milk or afterwards juice bottles fly around . Also I read that the safest palce in the car is behind the driver´s seat 2008 RRS TDV8 HSE, Java black, Alpaca,..... |
