BMW seemed to take the brand forward, Ford reduced the quality in many components and now would look like Tata are having their say

Been waiting for a replacement steering wheel for 4 weeks and the local dealer still cant give me a date when they will receive same at the dealership?

These were designed long before Tata bought LR. LR lets the customer do final testing, so always wait until they've been in production for a while before buying one.

2007 D3 HSE with winch, RAI, sliders, roof rack, ladder, yellow top, Engel etc for the school run
2010 RRS TDV8 HSE for work

The latest installment from the car from hell is the dash screen died this morning resulting in no sat nav. audio or cd.
Few hours later every thing was working okay

The dealer that i purchased the RRS from has offered to replace the car with a vehicle matching the exact specification of the RRS i am in at present. Should be given a delivery date this week and have been advised the car should be ready 2nd or 3rd week in May as it will go through production as a priority.

A freind has also been told his faulty MY10 RRS will be replaced by the same dealership.

Fingers crossed i dont land up with another dud

The local trading standards office sorted the replacement car out for me. It will not cost me a single penny extra
Nowadays returning a faulty car is just like having a faulty toaster or telly replaced.

Thats bloody excellent news mate - 4wheel was not so lucky - they wanted 11k off him to change over after his problems - will the car be like for like or have you managed to get an extra options thrown in??
