Have been counting the days till my RRS is ready for collection!!!, was given 23rd of march as a date for delivery, it did in fact arrive at the dealer then. I was told it would be pdi'd and ready today . But it has remained in their hands because the tax disc from DVLA has not turned up due to their strikes this month!! I am now being told it will be ready on wednesday! i have seen it, i have touched it, i have paid for it ,but i still cant get it!!

i was told today that if it was a normal number then they would have self taxed, but as it was my own number being transfered, they have to wait until the paperwork is completed for transfer from DVLA (i should have made that clear in my first post!) i would have thought 3 weeks was enough though but it seems i have been caught up in the strike(24th last week) althogh the dealer could be spinning a yarn, but i cant think why, as the car is there, complete with after market wheels i asked them to put on, and it was paid for on the 12th of march!

This seems to be a hit and miss thing at the moment. LR could not get my cherry plate on the car in time for delivery and had to wait weeks driving on original plates, however, just collected my Ford Mondeo from a local dealer having traded in the Toybota, did deal Saturday, gave him cover note Tuesday, drove away Mondeao on my plates the following Saturday (7 days later) who's kidding who? purple people eater
