Help me understand one thing - as much as James's aftershave has the Linx effect on some women (and some men it has been known) how come you're coming all the way from Weymouth for the meet - isn't that like a long long long way away in a far distant place?

It's not much mate, a few cars, few salesmen in sheepskin coats, lots of bundles of cash in pockets, mechanic called Nobby and a lot of transporters dropping off cars at midnight.....the usual LR kinda thing Thumbs Up

Speaking of which - I got a quote for paint correction - just that - for £575 for the RRS - polish and swirl free. No claying, or wax/sealant - think thats a little high? Shame you can't make it Simon.....will your girlfriend Wil still be coming???

james - that should be cool either way! Just take it easy driving there otherwise i might have to buy one Big Cry

nick - All the quotes i got last year were between 350-500 quid and included everything (except interior). I wouldnt trust anyone who didnt clay it first. Needs to be properly clean and ready before correction can be done afaik.

Alfie, but that price was for my car for correction only - the car is clayed and polished already.....getting some quotes as we speak.....apparently the RRS paint is very soft and prone to swirling quite easily......

Check this guy out...

Tbh wether you had clayed or not, I presume a pro would clay first to be 100% sure nothing was there first, like contaminates picked up since last clayed, or at least do a check first

by them not I would be worried over possible finish
