God help the poor soul who leads the convoy and has to convince the LR SatNav to follow that route! I predict an unexpected 150 mile detour so it can feed its motorway addiction Wink Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8::MG Montego Turbo::MGB GT::Rover Sterling::MGF::MG ZT 190+

Just as an add on - I have managed to arrange, with a bit of luck, a Car Valeting service, not far from Lookers. One of the members off here is opening a new site, which will offer more of a bespoke service (no, he's not Albanian - he may look it, but isn't!). They only use Maguires products, and offer a Clay/Polish/Wax service - and we'll get an RRS discount too - so if anyone fancies a quick run down there, 2 mins from Lookers.....we can arrange it on the day.

I can't g'tee any Blonde Busty Topless car washers...but hey, a clean car, expertly cleaned can't be all bad!

VA - Depends who's Mrs is coming with them, and weather they fancy washing cars. I am sure Mrs VA would do well though mate in a pair of heels.....and a sponge! Nice alternative revenue stream there mate if all else fails.....

Nick - I know, 10 cars - we'd be there all day - but maybe if everyone there could see one car being worked on - 2 weeks ago I knew nothing about detailing - now it's the most facinating area of car maintenance. Doesn't matter to people what they drive, I am sure even some people spend more on products than their cars are worth....

VA - Will you be able to make it??

Can I just check to see how many members are bringing people with them, and can I presume we're all up for a stop off for some lunch too, say at about 2pm ish.

We have 10 people so far, would be great if we could get 15 - so if anyone knows any other RRS members over this neck of the woods, please pass on the message and let them know.

Thanks Thumbs Up

Yes shouldn't be a problem to run you up the road in it quickly (literally!). Sadly only I can drive it for some reason though according to the lengthy loan agreement I've just returned! Embarassed

NICKM - As mentioned above, I won't be able to 'do lunch' as we've got too much going on. You know I'd love to and it is uncharacteristic of me to turn down an eating opportunity. (still can't believe you thought I was eating a kebab at my desk) - Should of gone to Specsavers! Whistle

James Thumbs Up

Yep, fine, but I won't be stopping at the pub. You can either jump in with someone for the return leg or come back to Lookers early?
