Doesn't the 'Closed loop diesel particle filter' option then give you exhaust pipes which point straight out? I'd consider going for it for that reason alone. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

My exhausts tips are hidden behind the bumper and point down to the floor, but I thought with this option the exhaust tips point straight out of the bumper similar to the supercharged model giving a sportier look. I think you've answered your question yourself. I don't know how good these things are now. I heard that on very cold days when the pressure drops you can get nuisance wanings. Just another thing to go wrong. Don't bother gets my vote. I was dissappointed to find my Sport didn't have the straight pipes as on the demo I drove. But the DPF needs long runs to keep it clean, so if you do mainly short hops it would be better not to have it. 2010MY Land Rover Freelander 2 HSE Santorini Black with Ebony Napoli Leather |

I've had two BMW's that had tyre pressure monitors and in 4 years they only ever signalled a flat tyre once, and sure enough I had a slow puncture. It was good to get plenty of notice before the tyre got too low without me noticing. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

I don't have tyre pressure monitoring and would have voted against it but I had a front down at 12 psi last year (should be 30psi). It wasn't visible as a bulging sidewall and the car didn't pull to one side.

I would vote for tyre pressure monitoring. On my previous BMW it came in useful many times and also acts as a warning of other issues. I had a very slightly buckled wheel - the TPMS suggested I had a flat but in fact it was the buckled wheel causing the warining (it was at excessive speeds...but not over 70 Mr Plod), so taking it to the dealership they identified the problem, sorted it and everyone was happy.

That's in fact an option I forgot. I hope the dealer can still add it to the order. 2010 TDV6 3.0 HSE Santorini Black Tan Full Leather |
