tailgate moulding

Hi all.

Can anyone please tell me how to remove the tailgate moulding (grey part with range rover on it) as I'm expecting a new java black one to be delivered tomorrow and obviously want to replace it.

Thanks

Hi rrs26

This has been covered before. ISTR the advice being to pull gently from one end and it comes off but use the forum search function and I'm sure you will find the information.

If it is held in place with the double sided adhesive you might want to run a hair dryer over it a few
times to soften the adhesive. It will release easier. Good luck! mike murphy

Since it's held on with 15 plastic clips similar to the ones which hold the door bottom mouldings on you might like to get some spares before you start as some willl probably break when you take the strip off.
