I can do Sat 27th for a couple of hours................ Whistle

It is for the 27th and 28th......hence why I asked VA, Kaine or you James to add the pole....but as Shmoogle did it for me - now he realises why I asked the others to do it!! Whistle Nah, thanks Sch for doing it albeit stupidly in a helpful kinda way! Very Happy

Saturday so far looks to be a popular day and thanks James for the time at Lookers.... Thumbs Up

Sorry Nick - when I did it I was coming to the end of working for almost 24hrs straight. Have altered it now.

Kaine or James could have tried adding it but wouldn't have got very far Wink

My contact at Land Rover has kindly loaned me a Range Rover Sport 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography for the day (Saturday 27th). You may recall that she loaned me a G4 RRS for the August 08 meet which was nice to have along for the day.

I will also have a limited number of 1/2 Day Off Road Experience vouchers that I will be able to give as prizes in a free raffle!

James Thumbs Up

Can I just remind folk who are interested in the Meet up in a couple of weekends to register their interest - and even if for the Sunday, to meet up with some TVR's (Pistonheads Meet) in Virginia Water at which will be a few RRS hopefully too.....

Thanks Thumbs Up

Hey Nas/others....

Thanks to all of you who have PM'd me, those of you who have mentioned you'd like to attend, please could you just confirm on this thread, so we have an idea of numbers....

We are planning to meet at Lookers at 11am, where James has very kindly managed to secure a RRS 5.0 Autobiography, and also to include us all in a raffle for some 1/2 Day LR Experience Vouchers too......

At about 1ish, venture down the M40, and with some help from Nas, work out a route that will get us a good run on the M40, and maybe as far down at Junction 6, turn around and get some back roads in to take us back to Beaconsfield, and perhaps stop at the Crazy Bear or maybe a less formal country pub like The Crown on the Penn Road - lots of nice twisty roads leading up to it...

We should be done by 4pm, so not a long day.......

Would be great to see as many people as possible - both new and old (ages, cars blah blah blah) and if any family members want to come too, they are more than welcome.

Thanks

Nick

How about this:

Use the link below to see on Google Maps
http://tinyurl.com/RRS-SummerMeet

It Takes you through:
Burnham Beeches - Nice country roads all the way..
Cliveden - Where the Profumo affair occurred
Maidenhead Riverside - along the Thames
Passes "The Ferry" - if anyone fancies a coffee by the river..
Cookham - Very nice little Village
Winters Hill - Great Vistas of the chilterns and a great place to get a picture of all the RRS' and their owners..
Marlow - Over the bridge and through this Lovely Thames side town
Then off to Beaconsfield and the Crown pub.. as suggested by Nick..
Back on M40 and make way home.

Don't take my word for it - copy and paste the link to google and have a look, they have pictures of all parts of the journey... 57 RRS | TDV8 HSE | Java Black | Black Interior | Side Steps | 20" Alloys

Route looks good! Not sure if 2 hours could perhaps be too long ar LPR, I'd suggest an hour to give a chance of a forum line-up for photo's and perhaps set off at noon.

As it's my last weekend in the new plate month I will need to bow out of lunch, but will certianly come along for the drive and will bid you farewell from the pub. Will there be enough parking at The Crazy Bear as Old Beaconsfield can usually be fairly busy parking-wise?

As mentioned, I do have a limited number of off-road vouchers to give away on the day.

James Thumbs Up
