I bought bars and box (Thule Atlantis) for a trip a coupe of weeks ago online. £400 odd all in. Amazingly easy to fit and demount afterwards. However, if it's only a one off trip you're probably better off renting a box and bars. Some of the offers were very good (£40 odd for a week including delivery to your home). Couldn't do it myself because (a) was over half term and they were fully booked; (b) had only investigated it late in the day. Good luck. Michael |

thanks Michael, well im already hot on the trail. iv just brought a set of landrover roof bars for £48 off ebay which i thought was good and now its a tossup between the ski and snowboard holder or the roof box.
